The Swan Princess II Nostalgiaview
About a year and a half ago, I sprained my ankle and had to be taken to the hospital to have it looked at when it began to swell unnaturally. During that time, I managed to watch a movie on my iPhone and wrote down a review while I was waiting. To say the least, it was primitive and my review comes off as amateur since I wasn't able to do a lot of research I prefer to do beforehand to understand the movie going in. That movie was "The Swan Princess," the 1994 Disney knock-off that came out the same year as Disney's "The Lion King" and failed miserably at the box office (raking in only $9 million of it's $35 million budget back). The Swan Princess NviewWell folks, since I seem to have sprained my ankle for the third time (yeah, I really suck) in my boredom laying in the clinic and from msning with my dear friend Maggie, we talked about nostalgic animated films to help pass the time and keep my focus way from the pain.. One such film she mentioned resurfaced memories of an animated film involving evil wizards, destined love and talking animals. The film in particular this nostalgiaview will be looking at; "The Swan Princess".

So our film start out with an an opening narration, yay! Exposition! It starts out telling a story about a king who's sad because he doesn't have any children (problemThe Swan Princess Nview by ~Volts48
Prize 1 for Avato-chanPrincess Odette's very first visit to Prince Derek's kingdom didn't exactly go well. Over the years, not many did actually. Their parents hated to admit this fact, especially Uberta, so the journeys continued over the years. The only one Odette could ever recall liking was when they were both not yet twelve. She was over for the summer, as was typical, and that year she started wearing trousers underneath her dress so she could run around with Derek and Bromley better. Uberta thought it was atrocious, but William didn't mind. After all, if it made the three months bearable, who was he to complain?

omg i LOVE that version of the swan princess it's all i'd watch when i was little, i am so glad they made more of them, they made a christmas one a year ago, but it's animated so it doesn't really feel the same. :/ . Still, one of my best friends, my cousin, was named after Odette cuz of this film, it's so cool that people are appreciating it!!!

lol They're all animated, but the newest one (which was actually only a couple of months ago) was in CGI as the founder said. Not their best idea, but I think all of us true fans enjoyed it anyways. :) I love the name Odette so much, it's cool that your cousin was named after her! It is nice to have our little community here, wish it was larger though. :)

Yes, we know about that one, CGI does not agree with "Swan Princess" in my opinion lol But it is a great movie series that I adore as well :heart:
